It is with great sorrow that we publish the passing of Giuseppina (Pina) Trotta in Montreal at 53 years old. After courageously battling and coping with a grievous illness for nearly 3 years. On Tuesday, January 10, 2023 with her husband and family by her side, she peacefully departed into the realm of the afterlife.
A devoted and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, Pina leaves her husband Franco and her beloved son Julius as well as her father Giovanni; her siblings Luigi (Gina), Victoria; her nephews, Gianni (Alexandra), Hugo and her Rottweiler Olga.
She was predeceased by her loving mother Teresa Murgante.
Pina will be most remembered for her deep kindness, empathy and generosity but also for her great baking & cooking skills and furthermore for her huge love for animals.
She will be profoundly missed by her close family, numerous relatives and her large circle of loyal friends that she gathered in the course of her life journey.
As per Giuseppina final wishes, a private viewing solely for the immediate family members came to pass Friday, January 13, 2023.
The funeral mass was celebrated at the historical R.D.P. St-Joseph church Saturday, January 21, 2023.
Giuseppina interment of ashes will occur on later date.
