Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow, we announce the passing away of Giovanni “John” Morelli on January 29, 2023 at the age of 60, after a brave battle with lung cancer. Beloved husband of 38 years to Nancy. Caring and devoted father to Christopher (Victoria), Amanda (David) and Andrew. Proud Nonno to Lily. Cherished son to Giuseppina and the late Saverio. Loving brother to Louie (Elena) and Maria (Thomas). Son-in-law to Maria Cristina and Pietro. Brother-in-law to Luisa (Joe). John will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many family and friends.
John was a Chartered Accountant, a Professor at Seneca College, and later in life he obtained his Real Estate License. John loved music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed watching sports, in particular hockey and football. He was always up for a good trivia challenge with his family.
If desired, donations to the Lung Cancer Association would be appreciated.

I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I was a professor with John at Seneca for many years. He was always very upbeat and happy, and a very good friend to his colleagues.
