À l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le 27 avril 2023, à l’âge de 91 ans et 11 mois, est décédé M. Gérald Thibodeau, domicilié à St-Basile, époux de Mme Égline “Aline“ Gauvin, fils de feu M. Richard Thibodeau et de feu Mme Sara Levesque.
Outre son épouse, il laisse dans la peine mais également avec de merveilleux souvenirs, ses enfants : Marius Thibodeau (Dina), Lisette Levesque (Gilman), Guildo Thibodeau (feu Josée), Lynda Thibodeau Whitaker, Lucille Roy (Serge) et Lucienne Roy (Rivald), ses petits-enfants : Kevin, Bruce, Melissa, Janny, Jason, Jake, Brenda, Gabrel, Brigitte, James, Gérald, Josée, Éric, Tina, Denis, Philippe, Luc et Vicky, 36 arrières-petits-enfants ainsi que 2 arrières-arrière-petits-enfants, ses sœurs : Yvette Boutot (feu Maxime) et Rina Thibodeau. Il repose maintenant auprès de ses parents, ses frères : Yvon, Roméo et Alveo ainsi que sa sœur Simone.
Les funérailles auront lieu lundi le 1er mai 2023 à 16 h en l’église de Ste-Anne-de-Madawaska avec l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial.
La famille de M. Gérald Thibodeau accueillera parents et ami(e)s à compter de 15 h lundi à l’arrière de l’église de Ste-Anne-de-Madawaska. Les heures de visites seront de 15 h à 16 h soit l’heures des funérailles.
Il était membre des Chevaliers-de-Colomb, 3e Degré, Conseil 6485 et 4e Degré, Assemblée 1633 Rév.-Claude-Cyr.

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, on April 27, 2023, at the age of 91 years and 11 months, passed away Mr. Gérald Thibodeau, residing in St-Basile, husband of Mrs. Égline “Aline“ Gauvin, son of the late Mr. Richard Thibodeau and of late Mrs. Sara Levesque.
Besides his wife, he leaves in sorrow but also with wonderful memories, his children: Marius Thibodeau (Dina), Lisette Levesque (Gilman), Guildo Thibodeau (late Josée), Lynda Thibodeau Whitaker, Lucille Roy (Serge) and Lucienne Roy (Rivald), his grandchildren: Kevin, Bruce, Melissa, Janny, Jason, Jake, Brenda, Gabrel, Brigitte, James, Gérald, Josée, Éric, Tina, Denis, Philippe, Luc and Vicky, 36 great-grandchildren as well as 2 great-great-grandchildren, his sisters: Yvette Boutot (late Maxime) and Rina Thibodeau. Besides his parents, he is now resting with his brothers: Yvon, Roméo and Alveo as well as his sister Simone.
The funeral will take place on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 4 p.m. at the church of Ste-Anne-de-Madawaska with interment in the parish cemetery.
The family of Mr. Gérald Thibodeau will welcome relatives and friends starting at 3 p.m. Monday at the back of the church in Set-Anne-de-Madawaska. Visiting hours will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the time of the funeral.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree, Council 6485 and 4th Degree, Assembly 1633 Rev.-Claude-Cyr.
