It is with sorrow that I announce the passing of my husband, Gerald Obermeyer. He passed away peacefully July 10, 2023, surrounded by family.
He will be dearly missed by me, Jean, his wife of 61 years; 3 sons Austin (Linda), Kirby (Nadine) and Byron (Anne); his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will also be missed by his sister Lillian.
Gerald was born in Kerrobert, SK on June 16, 1936. He began his oil patch career on drilling rigs and went on to have a highly successful career with Halliburton for decades. He was highly respected in the oil field and in his community.
He will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humour and great love for his family.
