It is with great
sadness that the family of Georgina Mae Howe announces her passing on
July 4th, 2023, under the loving care of her husband and eight
children. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Lillian McCarty
and the sister of 16
siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Garnet Hazen
Howe, Tony, Barbara, Thomas, Kenny, Kathy, Debra, Darlene, and
Donna. Twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-five great
grandchildren, and one great great
grandchild.
Georgina was employed by the Department
of Education and finished her career with the Department of
Transportation. She attended the Word of Faith
Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends
and enjoyed playing bingo with her sister
Doreen.
Visitation will be
held July 5, 2023, at Bishops Funeral Home from 5:00pm until
8:00pm. The Funeral Service will take place July 6, 2023, at
2:00 pm at the Bishops Funeral Home, followed by an Interment at the
Fredericton Rural Cemetery, third entrance on the left from Bishops
Funeral Home.
For those wishing
to make a memorial donation in Georgina’s memory, the family
have suggested the IWK Children’s Hospital or a charity of
the donor’s choice.
