Of George Benn & Sons Construction Ltd. In his 90th year, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital on Friday, September 8th, 2023. Beloved Husband of Marlene (Denning). Father of the late Terry (husband of Shirley Clarke), Karen (Fred), Garry (Holly) and Lisa (Scott) Brady. Proud Grandfather of Jamie, Laurel, Wendy, Terry, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Erin, Joe, and 14 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Gerald (the late Pat), late Elaine (Gerald) Wilson and Glenn (late Marguerite). Fondly Remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place at Newburgh Cemetery Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 1 pm. (family and friends will meet at 12:30 at Funeral home and drive to cemetery). A Reception will be held from 2-4 on Thursday, September 14 at the Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee for all family and friends.
As expressions of sympathy if desired donations can be made to the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation. On-line condolences and donations may be forwarded thru www.wartmanfuneralhomes.com.
