Peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Sunday May 28, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Irene. Dear father of Susan (Chris). Proud stepfather of Donna (Ken), Ross (Lynn), Bonnie (Wally), Cindy (Allen), Dennis (Elizabeth), and Karen (Jim). Cherished grandfather of Alicia and Kayla. Predeceased by his stepdaughters Judy and Sharon. Survived by brothers Phil and Bob. Predeceased by his siblings; Mary, Tina, Harry, Raymond, and John. George will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St. Parry Sound). If desired, donations to the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
