It is with great sadness the family of George Edward Andrews announce his passing on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. His loss will be felt deeply by his wife Elaine Andrews and children Robin (Cathy) Wilcox, Anthony (Sherry) Wilcox, Dale (Hillary) Campbell and Cynthia Mary (Blanche) Andrews. He will be forever missed by his brother Charles (Dilene) and sisters Nancy Raynes and Barbara (Robert) Petch. George was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. George was an avid darts player, having played with the Saint John City and District Dart League for over 35 years. He loved his T.V. Bingo and was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 69. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 5 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 6th at 2:00 p.m. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations to Huntington’s Disease would be greatly appreciated by the family.
