Garry Soper, age 76, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge on Monday, April 3, 2023. Born in Stratford, son of the late Herbert and Helen (nee Morphy) Soper. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte Soper (nee Ellis). Loved father of Colin Soper (late Michelle 2022) and Royce Soper (Lori). Proud grandfather of Austin (Michelle), Dylan (Christine), Sarah, Bryce (Taylor) and great grandfather of Mace and Ila. Dear brother of Evelyn Hammond (John), Mary Helen Barclay (Glenn), Tom (Donna), Patsy Kozack (Ted) and Charlene Haldane (Don). Predeceased by his brother Bill (late Judy).
Visitation at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1 – 3 pm where the funeral service will be held at 3 pm followed by a reception. A private family interment will take place in Avondale Cemetery at a later date.
