Obituary of Gail Edna Charlotte Daw
May 1, 1949 – March 14, 2023
Gail Daw passed away on the evening of March 14, 2023 at the Foothills Hospital due to complications from Parkinson’s disease.
She is survived by her beloved husband Terry, her children Cindy and Steven, her granddaughter Inara, her sister-in-law Diane and brother-in-law Tom. She is also survived by her friends that became family, Janice and Spencer Sumner. Gail spent years working with children and serving her community. She volunteered with many different organizations and was always there to help when things needed doing. Gail welcomed everyone into her home, with love.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for support for the Parkinson Association of Alberta (www.parkinsonassociation.ca) or Operation Smile (www.secureoperationsmile.ca) so Gail’s memory can give hope to others.
Funeral services to celebrate Gail’s life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Strathmore United Church at 1:00 p.m.
