Bresee; Frederick Clayton – Peacefully at Trillium Care Community in Kingston, on Sunday, January 15, 2023, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Bresee (nee Palmer). Son of the late Hendrick and Winnifred (nee Knapp) Bresee. Loving father of Roger Bresee (Beverly) of Peterborough and Peter Bresee (Bonnie) of Cochrane, AB. Dear brother of Gary (Joy) Bresee of Westport, and brother-in-law of Lois Palmer of Mountain. Predeceased by sisters Lorna Stinson and Geraldine Palmer and brothers Lloyd and Frank Bresee. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Served many years as teacher and principal with the Limestone District School Board. Active and dedicated member of the Presbyterian Church. Special thanks to the staff of Trillium Care Community and conservatory Pond Retirement Residences for their caring dedication.
The family will accept visitors to James Reid Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 10:00 – 10:50 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, with Reverend Job van Hartingsveldt officiating. Interment to follow at the Knox Presbyterian Cemetery in Westport. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Bible Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association in Mr. Bresee’s memory.
