It is with heavy hearts that the families of the late Freda Wentzell announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Thursday, June 1st, 2023, at the age of 93 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Marjorie Reid, Leslie (Paulette) Wentzell, Ross (Paulette) Wentzell, Boyde (Daphne) Wentzell, Brent (Michelle) Wentzell, Faye (Paul) Colombe, and Gail (Todd) Hynes. Her grandchildren; Byron (Debbie), Tracy, Ryan (Danielle),Damien (Krysta),Robyn (James), Jamie (Aimee), Sara (Philip), Christopher, Samantha (Nolan), Victoria, Dustin, Gregory (Fallon), and Randy, her great grandchildren; Benjamin, Alyssa, Brody, Hannah, Jennifer, Benjamin, Charlie, Isla, Lily, Ruby, Mackenzie, Jayden, Leland, Kaleb, Ava, Charolette, Patrick, Carter, James, Harlen, Aliannah, and Jaysie, her sister; Hannah Pittman.
Freda was predeceased by her husband; Harrison, her daughter; Margaret, her grandson; Paul, her parents; Irene and Charles Wilton, her brother; Raymond Wilton, her son-in-law; Cecil Reid, her mother and father-in-law; Julia and Aseph Wentzell, her brothers-in-law; George Pittman, Stedman (Olga) Wentzell, Ralph (Barbara) Wentzell, Aseph (Maude) Wentzell, and Jerry Wentzell, and her sisters-in-law; Zelpha (William) Penny, and Betty (Bruce) Turner. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Flowers and donations to a charity of one’s choice, in Freda’s memory would be graciously accepted by the family.
The family would like to say a special thank-you to the nurses, Doctor’s and staff at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, and also Rev: Terry Rose.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniel’s Hr, NL, on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place on Sunday, June 4th, 2023, at 2:00 pm, with Rev: Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the Holy Cross Church cemetery in Daniel’s Hr, NL..
The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
