Burrows, Fred (1940 – 2023)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fred Burrows on August 17 at the Au Château at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Stella Burrows, his brother Donald Burrows and his partner Pauline Pépin (née Gareau). Dear brother of Cathy McNutt (late Ron McNutt). He is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his friends who became family Karen Pépin, Andrée-Anne Larabie (née Galipeau), Robert Pépin and Richard Pépin. He leaves behind four nephews John, Peter, Robert and Michael. Fred loved the lake and cottage life. He was always ready and willing for a boating or snowmobiling adventure. He enjoyed having company and always kept the conversation going. A special thank you to the staff at Au Château who provided excellent care during his stay. The staff were truly devoted to providing quality comfort and care. Your hard work and dedication to your profession is very much appreciated. In respecting Fred’s wishes, there will be no viewing or service. A private family gathering will be held in September. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Théorêt-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
