Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Frank Yurchuk passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 88.
A loving husband, devoted father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Frank was born on the Cote St Luc family farm in Montreal in 1934 to Maria & Constanty.
The eldest of six children, he helped take care of his brothers and sisters, Lily (Ron),
Rosie, Nick (Francine), George (Cheryl) & Helen (Tony) along with the family floriculture business. These roles early on in his life shaped him into a determined, hardworking man, who loved nature. Frank was an entrepreneur and started a scrap metal recycling business which became a lifelong passion. He built homes, businesses and lifelong human connections with his giant hands, sensitive heart and intuitive mind.
Frank married late in life at 39, waiting for his true love Olga. She had two beautiful
children who he loved as his own. They later had twin girls together, Tatyana (Mario) &
Natasha (Josh) that he adored with all his heart. Then came his granddaughter, Kiki (Alexis) who he treasured dearly. He inspired us all with the beautiful way he saw the world and his dedication to provide for his family.
Frank will be incredibly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. They will see him in every plant they grow, every flower they smell, every car they drive and will remember him as a man that never gave up hope and always did his very best.

Un mari aimant, un père dévoué, un beau-père, un grand-père, un frère, un oncle, un cousin et un ami.
Frank est né sur la ferme familiale Cote St Luc à Montréal en 1934 de Maria & Constanty.
Aîné de six enfants, il aidait à prendre soin de ses frères et sœurs, Lily (Ron), Rosie, Nick (Francine), George (Cheryl) et Helen (Tony) ainsi que de l’entreprise familiale de floriculture. Ces rôles au début de sa vie ont fait de lui un homme déterminé, travailleur, qui aimait la nature. Frank était un entrepreneur qui a commencé une entreprise de recyclage de métaux qui est devenue une passion de toute une vie. Il a construit des maisons, des entreprises et des connexions humaines à vie avec ses mains géantes, son cœur sensible et son esprit intuitif.
Frank s’est marié tard dans la vie à 39 ans, attendant son véritable amour Olga. Elle avait deux beaux enfants qu’il aimait comme les siens. Plus tard, ils ont eu des jumelles ensemble, Tatyana (Mario) & Natasha (Josh) qu’il adorait de tout son cœur. Puis vint sa petite-fille, Kiki (Alexis) qu’il chérissait. Il nous a tous inspirés par sa façon de voir le monde et son dévouement à subvenir aux besoins de sa famille.
Frank manquera énormément à tous ceux qui ont eu le privilège de le connaître. Ils le verront dans chaque plante qu’ils cultivent, chaque fleur qu’ils sentent, chaque voiture qu’ils conduisent et se souviendront de lui comme d’un homme qui n’a jamais perdu espoir et a toujours fait de son mieux.
