At Blenheim Community Village on Thursday June 1st, 2023, Frank Pomajba formerly of Dover township, passed away in his 83rd year. Cherished son of the late Frank and Anne Pomajba. Beloved husband of Geraldine. Loving father of Paul and his wife Fiona, Rob and his wife Carolyn, Valerie Sayer and her husband Marc, and Elaine Dunn and her husband Ryan. He will be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Olivia, Hilary, Cole, Sydney, Abby, Ruby and Griffin. Dear brother of the late Sylvia Pomajba, Mary Ann Little and her husband Lorne, and Frances Kay Pomajba.
Frank was born and raised a farmer, growing corn, beans, tomatoes, and cucumbers as well as raising beef cattle. He was well known for feeding families with his famous peaches and cream sweet corn in front of his 40 Hwy homestead. Frank was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and in the winter months enjoyed playing cards at their meeting hall. He could be found at every Jr Maroon hockey game cheering with buddies in their regular seats behind the North end net.
Special thanks to Dr. D. Huffman and the staff of both the Chatham Retirement Resort and the Blenheim Community Village Long Term Care in providing compassionate care for Frank’s journey to continue farming in Heaven’s fields.
Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St. West, Chatham, on Sunday June 4th, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham, on Monday June 5th, 2023, at 11 am Father Dariusz Lewandowski celebrant. The funeral mass will be livestreamed from the church. Cremation to follow. Interment at a later date.

A Knights of Columbus service will be held at on Sunday evening at 645pm at the funeral home.
