Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital surrounded by family on March 26, 2023 , Francis Joseph Whelan of South River aged 79 years.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Elizabeth (nee Kelly) Whelan, sons John and John Mclean, and sister Gladys.
Leaving to mourn his loving wife of almost 9 years Norma, children Chris, Mabel (Paul), Tracy (David) and Frances (Sheldon), sister Lucina (Kevin) and extended family and friends.
Grandchildren Michael, Emily, Dakota, Joshua, Jayden, and Alexa.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 10 A.M.- 9 P.M.
Funeral to take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. from All Hallows Roman Catholic Church, North River with cremation to follow.
Frank was well loved and will be deeply missed.
