Francis Arsenault, 85, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday
May 11, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Robichaud
Office, he was the son of the late Alfred and Yvonne (Robichaud)
Arsenault.
Prior to his retirement, Francis worked at NB Tel where he
held various positions throughout his 36 years career.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothée
(Maillet); two sons: Jacques (Léona) and Gilles
(Josephine); three grandchildren: Véronique, Jules, and
Samuel; one great-grandson, Maxime Francois; two sisters: Corinne
Gagnon (late Paul-Eugène) and Claudette Savoie; three
brothers: Alcide (Thérèse), Marcel, and Michel
(Odette); as well as the Maillet family: Émile Arthur
(Claudette), Rachel (late Gérard Bard), Charles (Colette),
and Lynne (Gary Frotten); and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister,
Angèle Arsenault; and three brothers-in-law: Sylvio J.
Savoie, Dr. Léo-Paul Landry, and Roger
Maillet.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday May 20 at 10:30 am.
Visiting hours are Friday from 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral service
will be streamed live; to view the funeral, go to his obituary on
Frenette website. Interment will be at Saint-Henri cemetery
in Barachois. In memory of Francis, a contribution to
