It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francesco “Ciccio” (micione) Canonico, on July 11, 2023, at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband of Francesca D’Antico, cherished father of Raffaella, RoseMarie (Alfredo), Vincent, and Grace (Tony), and devoted grandfather of Francesca and Massimo. He will also be deeply missed by his brother, Antonio, along with many relatives and friends.
The world seems a darker place without him. Our dad embraced life fully, with a great love of food, his beloved Napoli soccer team, his children, but above all, the love of his life, his chérie, Francesca. Married for almost 64 years, they still held hands every day until the very end. We love you, Daddy, and will miss you forever.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Tuesday, July 18, 2023 as of 9:30 am at Yves Légaré Funeral complex: 7200 Newman in Lasalle.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11:00 am at St-John Bosco Church: 2510 Springland.
