Claire, Emma and Amelia. Predeceased by her husband James Lindsay.
Della was born on September 23, 1940 in Stanstead Quebec, the daughter of Roy and Eva
Sheldon. Della passed peacefully at her home, on Monday, March 27 2023, with family by her
side.
Della could often be found reading, knitting, doing puzzles, enjoying the outdoors and she loved
spending time with all her family and friends. Della was full of humor, love and a hint of
mischief. Della will be missed by all that knew her.
Visitation will be held at the Mitchell Funeral Home on Sunday April 2, 2023 from 1-3 pm.
Funeral Service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 4 Mary Street, East, Huntsville on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 1pm.
Reception to follow. The spring interment will be held at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery, Huntsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
