Florence Thérèse LeBlanc, 82, of
Pavillon Landry at Faubourg du Mascaret in Moncton, passed away on
Sunday August 20, 2023 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Dover, she was
the daughter of the late Henri and Dorilla (Melanson)
Gauvin.
She is survived by six children: Charles (Monique), Paul,
Janice Dallaire (Maurice), Paulette Richard (Rod), Ginette LeBlanc,
and Nicole LeBlanc (Marc); 12 grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Henri Chartier; six siblings: Mai
Gosselin (Tim), Rachel Bourgeois (late Abbé), Stella Smith
(late Edward), Paul (Sue), Francine Kutnahorsky (Wolf), and Monique
Gauvin (Michel); as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Marise Chartier; and
three siblings: Jeannette, Yvette, and Roger.
Special thanks to Dr. Brian Davidson for his compassion and
care during the past 30+ years.
A private gathering will be held at a later date. In memory
of Florence, a contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital
Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the
professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton
(506-858-1900).
