MUDRICK, Florence – Passed away peacefully in the evening of Friday January 27, 2023, just shy of her 95th birthday. Her children, all of her grandchildren and loved ones had short but loving visits with her in her last days. This brought her great joy and peace. Always gracious and generous, Florence was loved and cherished by her children Danny, Josh and Lorrie, and Carrie. Grandchildren Kate, Beck, Talia and Ryan, Jeff and Emily, Jamie, David and Hannah, Marlee, and Great Grandchildren Zev, Nava and Nora, and her many nieces and nephews. Florence loved creating in her garden, she painted, and she made the most amazing banana cake with chocolate icing. Florence’s light and her love shone through everyone she met. A graveside service will be held on Sunday January 29, 2023 in the Adath Israel Synagogue Section at Pardes Shalom Cemetery, 10953 Dufferin Street. Shiva visits are welcome following burial at 10 Nora Rd., Toronto, Shiva continues Monday January 30th, and Tuesday January 31st from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with evening services at 5:00 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Jewish Family and Child Services, 416-638-7800, or the charity of your choice.
