We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother Flora Marie Taillefer ‘nee Kusch’ on December 29, 2022, at Wheatland Lodge in Leask.
Mom is survived by her children Lorraine Clysdale (Gordon) of Warman, Alice Hambleton (Doug Goertzen) of Saskatoon, Gerald St. Pierre (Flora) of Barrhead, AB, sisters Rita Turcotte of High Prairie, Ab., Ida LeSann of Nanaimo and brother Albert (Eliza) Kusch of Rosthern, 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
Mom was predeceased by our dad Arthur in 1990, Son in Law Don Hambleton in 2010 and Daughter in Law Dorine St. Pierre in 2017, brothers and sisters in laws Joe and Eva (Houle), Ernest and Yvonne (Gorieu), sister and brother in law Agnes and Joe Tessier, sisters Yvonne, Alice (in infancy), brothers in law Joe Turcotte and Henry LeSann.
Mom was born January 25th, 1923 to Albert and Maria (Georget) Kusch and spent most of her life on the farm in Domremy where she took great pride in her gardens. After retiring from farm life, Mom and Dad enjoyed travelling through Canada, Europe and the States where they finally settled on Yuma as a place to spend many happy winters. After dad’s passing, mom moved to Prince Albert.
We would like to thank Wheatland Lodge for the wonderful care she received there during the last few years of her life.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Ste. Jeanne d’Arc Roman Catholic Church, Domremy, SK. Interment will follow in the Ste. Jeanne d’Arc Roman Catholic Cemetery.
