Eason Flora
Passed peacefully away at St.Clare’s Mercy Hospital on January 30th 2023 at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by her husband: Fred (1974), her parents: Samuel and Annie Butler, brothers: Will and Sam, sisters: Adelene, Alice, Clara and Mary. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters: Cynthia Legge (Garry), Doris Jefford (Gordan), sons:Fred (Ethel) and Rick (Maxine), grandchildren: Tina Fitzgerald, Sean Legge, Dawn Cluney, John Jefford, Cory Eason, Shane Eason, Kayla Eason and Michael Eason, Also seven great grandchildren. As well as other family and friends especially her roommate at Aurora Estates, Florence Legge. Special thanks and appreciation to Lana Synard, staff and residents of Aurora Estates. Also, to the nurses of St. Clare’s 6th floor, who so lovingly cared for her in her final days. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, CBS on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 from 10 – 12 noon followed by funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel at 1 pm. Interment in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Topsail. No flowers by request. Donations in Flora’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
