Evelyn Keeping
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Evelyn May Keeping of Fortune announces her passing. Evelyn passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, July 10th, 2023, at the age of 82.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Kerry Keeping (Marina) of Fortune, NL, Paris Keeping (Cindy) of Rusagonis, NB; daughters, Donna Vey (Lloyd) of Goulds, NL, Deanne Brisebiois (Michel) of Spruce Grove, AB; 7 grandchildren, Deidre (Jake), Danielle (Phil), Dayna (Matt), Andrew (Nick), Cameron (Lisa), Tia (Jacky), Candace; 2 great grandchildren, Abel, Arlo; sisters, Donna Skinner, Jayne Noseworthy (Eric); brother, Neville Sheppard (Eileen); plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Evelyn was predeceased by husband, James; Baby Boy Keeping; parents, Walter & May Sheppard.
In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes, cremation will take place.
The Keeping Family will be accepting visitors at All Saints Anglican Chapel, Springhill Road, Fortune, NL A0E 1P0 on Thursday, July 13th, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will take place at on Friday, July 14th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the All Saints Anglican Church in Fortune.
Inurnment to follow at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Harbour Grace on Saturday, July 15th, 2023.
In Evelyn’s memory donations may be made to the All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes – Fortune.
