“Ev” (Evelyn) Stone passed away peacefully in the arms of our Lord on Sunday April 2, 2023.
She leaves behind her devoted daughters, Corinne “Cori” and Sherry Anderson, grandchildren Lorne and Kimberly Waddell, her beloved sister and best friend Gladys Peterson, plus nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by the love of her life, Don. As well as her brother in law, Wayne “Pete” Peterson, along with her brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at the Okotoks Union Cemetery, in the Field of Honour, beside her cherished husband on Monday April 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Mark Ruf from Grace Lutheran Church to officiate.
Reception will follow at the Snodgrass Funeral Home, 200 Woodgate Rd, Okotoks.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Evelyn Stone to the Veterans Food Bank.
