Obituary
Eva June Griffin, 82, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit on March 8, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kingston, Nova Scotia in the Annapolis Valley, Eva was the daughter of Minola Baker and Ralph Berry.
Eva was a faithful member of the First Moncton Baptist Church. She worked in the Sunday School nursery for many years and was a member of the Zella Clark WMS. She worked for the Salvation Army Eventide Home and Lakeview Manor for over 30 years.
Eva was married for nearly 66 years to her Highschool sweetheart Ellard Griffin. They enjoyed travelling in their retirement and spending time with family and friends. Eva is survived by her beloved husband Ellard, three daughters, Wendy (Michael), Cheryl (Robert) both of Moncton, Tracey (Jim) of Ladysmith, BC. And her sister Pauline of Bridgetown, NS. She was also the proud grandmother of five grandchildren Matthew, Ben, Jason (Sylvie), Brittany (Chris) and Lindsay (Marco) all of Moncton; as well as six great grandchildren Nadesia, Isabella, Lillianna, Carter, Milo and Gabrielle.
Eva was predeceased by her parents and brother Morley.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton, (506-858-1995) at 11:00 am.
