Euclida Bourque, 95, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday March
5, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Edgar T. and Anna (Landry)
LeBlanc.
Euclida was a very active member in her community, having
participated in various choirs over the years. She volunteered at the
Capitol Theatre for over 20 years as well as the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont
Hospital. She also devoted countless hours with several committees and
was a long-time parishioner at Christ-Roi Church. In her later years,
she enjoyed travelling with family and friends.
She is survived by three children: Bernadette (Phil Jabalee),
Paul and his son, Teaville (Maxime), and Roger (Evelyn); one
daughter-in-law, Marsha Hendrickson; four sisters: Sr. Germaine
LeBlanc ndsc, Josette Levesque (late Dr. Joe), Huberte Boissonnault
(late Victor), and Jeannine O’Hearn (Don); one brother,
Jules (Marguerite); one sister-in-law, Huguette; as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Gérard (1983); one son, Louis; three sisters: Marie,
Jacqueline, and Zilla; as well as five brothers: Raymond,
René, Gérard, Guy, and Jean-Paul.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Friday June 2, 2023 at 2:30 pm.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 1:30 pm until time of funeral.
Interment will be in at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In
memory of Euclida, a contribution to a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated.
