Eric Landry
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden death on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the age of 67 years. Beloved son of Emma and late George Landry. Dear brother of Robert Landry (Gillian), Lawrence Landry (Ulrike), Georgia Morin (Ron), Greta Lingenfelter (Steven), Louise Landry, Lucy Moyer (Tim), Travis Landry (Brigitte) and Dean Landry (Lisa). Eric will be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Eric worked at Dominion Grocery Store as a grocery clerk for years. He also worked at Pizza Hut in Timmins and later on he spent time working/volunteering at the Cedar Grove Café. He was a hard worker and impeccable at whatever he did. He loved the crisp cool air and his early morning walks. He kept a solid routine. If you needed to remember anything, from names of people, dates of events, anything, you just had to ask Eric. He had an infectious laugh and a big heart.
Remembrance donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 11 am to 12 noon at the Sacred Heart Parish in Chapleau followed by the funeral service. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
