Peacefully at home, on Thursday, January 12, 2023, Emily Kusmirski (née Wojcicki) in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Roman for 72 years. Loving father of Gene, Susan (Don) and Christopher (Kellie). Loved Babcia of Stephanie, Ryan, Katelyn (Anthony), and Christopher. She tried her best to await the birth of her upcoming great grandchild in 2 weeks time, but was called home to heaven. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Will be missed by her furry pal Monty. Predeceased by her brother Mike. Emily, with Roman, were proprietors of Busy Bee Variety and Continental Banquet Hall for 48 years. She loved her grandchildren, especially cooking for them, as well as the whole family. Car rides with her family, in later years, became one of her simple joys. Visitation at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m., with a Prayer Vigil at 2:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 287 Plains Rd. E., Burlington on Saturday, January 21 at 10 a.m. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
