It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mum Elsie Bish. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Stettler Acute Care on January 16th, 2023 at the age of 92.
Elsie was born in Forestburg on February 15th, 1930 to her loving parents Voila and Ernest Price. Elsie married Wesley Bish and lived in Forestburg for 69 years and had three sons.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Percy (Peggy), Dale (Jean), and Russ (Louise); seven grandchildren: Aaron (Kelly), Darin (Deanne), Chris (Lisa), Pam (Jason), Kenny (Deanne), Charmaine and Zack. Plus eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; her brother Gerald Price, sister-in-law Lois Price, brother-in-law Doug Bish and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Elsie was predeceased by her loving husband Wesley and infant son John Wesley. Also family members: Ted & Rita Price, Dick Price, Jean & Alvin Fink, Jack & Mable (Martz) Price, Gwen & Ernie Jans, Ernie Price, Donna Oberg, Gladys & Raymond Kemmis, Goldie & Dugald McCallum, Elaine & Harry Christman, Phyllis & Jock Higgins, Bernita & Eric Butt, Austin & Florence Bish, and daughter-in-law Jeanette Bish.
A Celebration of Life and interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or the Forestburg Villa.
