Passed peacefully away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Kenny’s Pond Retirement Home, surrounded by her loving family, Helen Connors (nee Devereaux) of Torbay, age 85 years.
Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Ellen Devereaux; father and mother-in-law Jack and Mary Connors; brothers: Bill (Lillian), Paddy and Jack (Marg); sisters: Mary (Tom), Betty (Ed) and Bride (Steve); and sisters-in-law Bernadette Connors and Patricia Gosse (Bernard).
Leaving to mourn her husband, Donald of 66 years; her children: John, Joe (Mary), Debbie, Barb Mahon (Gary), Shelly O’Keefe (Owen) and Rodney; five precious grandchildren: Brad (Melissa), Stephen (Alex), Brittany (Austin), Kaitlyn and Emily; one special great-granddaughter Lauren; sister Nora Tobin (Tom); sisters-in-law: Muriel Webber (Robert), Monica King (Brian) and Winnifred Devereaux; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Karen Lake for her care over the last number of years. Our heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care mom received from the professional staff of the 2nd floor of Kenny’s Pond for the past two months.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from Holy Trinity Church at 1 pm with cremation to follow.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
As you always said mom, “see you tomorrow, please God”.
