Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Rose Russell announce her passing on Monday, May 8th, 2023 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 77th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 50 years: John Russell; her two daughters: Pamela Russell (Ben Gillingham), and Christine Elliott (Matt); one precious grandchild: Jacob Elliott; sister: Thomasine Temple (Art); brothers-in-law: Randy Coombs, and Dave Murphy; and sister-in-law: Eileen Russell; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents: Thomas and Catherine Hennessey; brothers: Harold and Gary; sisters: Catherine, Brenda, and Rosemary; and her brother-in-law: Bill Russell.
At her request, cremation has taken place. There will be a funeral service held for family and friends on Friday, May 12th, 2023 in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Elizabeth would want people to do whatever would make them happy. A donation can be made in Elizabeth’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
