NAGY: Elizabeth “Betty”
It is with profound sadness that the family of Elizabeth Nagy, born July 12, 1941, in Glasgow Scotland passed away peacefully on January 18, 2023 at the age of 81. Predeceased by her husband Leslie, and her sister Jackie. Survived by her loving daughter Sophia, and son Leslie (Lorna). Cherished Grandma of Theresa (Steve), Elyse (Tanya), Emily, and Erica (Brad) who will forever cherish and remember her. Near and dear to heart are her Great Grandchildren Jacob, Sebastian, Frederik, Louisa, and Audrey. Elizabeth is survived by her sisters Evelyn (Ken), June, Wynn, and Muriel (Syd), and will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada, Scotland and Hungary.
Betty was blessed with a beautiful spirit, so tender, loving and kind. She had a gentle soul and was a very giving person all of her life. A bright star now sparkles from up above.
Arrangements entrusted to the DeStefano Funeral Home 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa. As were Elizabeth’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation would be appreciated.
May her memory live on within the hearts of those that loved her most.
