GRAVEL, ELIZABETH (née Lemieux)
Peacefully, surrounded by family, Elizabeth Gravel on Saturday, July 29th, 2023 at the age of 72. Loving wife of the late Bernard Gravel. Devoted mother to Adam (Faye Hughes), Robyn (Ash Mascarenhas) and the late Vince. Adored grandmother of Owen, Noah, Maren, Delia, Carter and Eadie. Sister to Junior (Susan), Robert (Clare), Mark (Pearl), Irene (late Guy), and Regis. She was the daughter of the late Édouard and Doris Lemieux (née Doherty). Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her Tante Rita. Liz was a long-time employee of The Bay where she worked as a Gift Consultant. Our mom will be remembered for her love of family, her faith and sneaky smile. The family are eternally grateful to the staff of New Orchard Lodge who cared for our mother in her final years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dementia Society, 500-2327 St. Laurent Boulevard, Ottawa, ON K1G 4J8 would be appreciated by the family. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. from 5-8 pm on Thursday August 3. Funeral Friday to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 17 First Ave. for Mass at 11 am. Condolences may be left at www.daleyffh.ca
