Betty passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Dearness Home in London.
Beloved wife of the late Albert Lawson (1986) and dear mother of Liz and Jim Patience and Tom and Vlasta Lawson.
Loving grandmother/mimi to Brad and Tanya, Allison and Steve, Quinn, Tori and Curtis and great grandmother to Blake, Caden and Noah.
Predeceased by her parents Walter and Bernice Hutchison as well as her brothers Morley Hutchison and Don Hutchison.
Survived by her sister-in-law Berneice Hutchison, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Betty was a lifetime member of the Salem Nilestown and Harrietsville Women’s Institute.
Friends and family may call at the Dorchester United Church, 4100 Catherine Street, Dorchester on Wednesday, January 18 (2 hours prior to service 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.) where the memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wearing of face masks would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
Spring interment of cremated remains Bostwick Cemetery, London.
In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Dorchester United Church, 4100 Catherine Street, Dorchester, ON N0L 1G0 or to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
