ROBERTO, Elizabeth (Betty) – Passed away on Friday, May 19th, 2023, at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital at 89 years of age. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Nick. Loving mother of Patrick (Marianne). Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Rachel) and Devon (Nicole) and great grandmother of Fairen. She will be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Vajtku, her parents in law Mary and Patsy Roberto, her in laws Jim Roberto (Angelina), Frances Lauro (Frank), Kay Infantino and Jennie Roberto.
Betty was a teacher for 33 years retiring in 1989 from Holy Name School where she taught kindergarten for many years.
Visitation and vigil were held at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland with rite of committal in Holy Cross Cemetery.
