Elena Teresa Del Chiaro, age 91, of Stratford passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge on February 23, 2023. Born in St. Marys, daughter of the late Giuseppi and Annuziata Bronzi.
Beloved wife of the late Ferruccio “Fred” Del Chiaro who predeceased her in 1993. Loving mother of Stephen (Barb), David (Ann). Grandmother of Marc (Ina), Laura, Tricia and Adam and great grandmother of Emma and Sophie. Sister to Bianca Marcaccio, George Bronzi (Vanna) and sister-in-law of Oliva Del Chiaro. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brother Joe Bronzi and brothers-in-law Claude Marcaccio, John Del Chiaro and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Italy.
Family and friends are invited to St. Joseph’s Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, February 25, where Elena’s funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment at Avondale Cemetery followed by a reception at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford.
