Elbert was in his 89th year, living life the best way he could. He was an avid Nature Enthusiast who also loved animals. Elbert fought hard, but sadly lost his battle with Cancer on March 9, 2023 at Royal Victoria Hospital. He leaves behind his wife Ida “June” Palmer of 69 years. His Sons Paul(Sheila) and Mark(Patsy & Lorrie) He was pre-deceased by his eldest son John(Loni) in 2014. Elbert also leaves behind his siblings Margaret and Betty, his grandchildren Michael(Nicole) Joyce, Patrick(Karen), Cynthia(Chris), Peter(Genuh), Dale, Jacqueline, Wendy, and great grandchildren Dominic, Kory, Alina, and Melissa. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
