Suddenly at home on Tuesday June 6, 2023, Elaine “The Boss” at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of 52 years to Bill “The Capt’n” Meehan. Loving mother of Bob, and Kathy. Dear sister to Betty Ann & Don Laidlaw, and Gail & Don Doughty. Dear sister-in-law to Sharon & Bob Sherk, Lynne & the late Don Simington, and Charlene Meehan & the late Grant Hempell. Cherished aunt to many nieces & nephews. “The Boss” will be missed by many friends especially “The Gang” and the “Woodlawn Family”. Elaine shared her time and talents knitting dolls for WHGH emergency department and sewing for South Coast Community Care for Cancer, along with her other volunteer commitments.
The Capt’n is left to navigate the challenging waters ahead without his First Mate.
