C’est avec un immense regret que nous vous faisons part du décès de Monsieur Edward T. Hood.
Décédé le 22 juin 2023, à l’âge de 64 ans d’un long combat contre le cancer.
Il laisse dans le deuil l’amour de sa vie sa magnifique fille Tania (Jonny Roussel Hamelin); ses sœurs : Doreen et Louise (Rob); la mère de Tania sa confidente Suzanne; ses neveux : Maurice (Cathy), Carmelo (Paige); ses nièces : Julie (Yvon) et Jennifer ainsi que plusieurs parents et ami (e)s. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents : Edward A. Hood et Theresa Chapman; son beau-frère et ami : Marcel Côté (Doreen); ainsi que Daniel le fils de Marcel. Ed avait également une deuxième famille et ami(e)s au Chelrod Chelsea Car Club ou il passait la majorité de son temps.
Une célébration de sa vie aura lieu à une date ultérieure.
La famille aimerait remercier sincèrement le personnel de la Maison des Collines pour leur compassion et les soins prodigués. Un merci spécial pour : Martine Pigeon, Ron et Steve d’avoir été à ses côtés.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward T. Hood on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at la Maison des Collines Wakefield at the age of 64. Beloved father of his beautiful daughter Tania (Jonny Roussel Hamelin). Cherished brother of Doreen and Louise (Rob). He is survived by Suzanne his confident and mother of Tania and her family. Dearest uncle of Julie (Yvon), Jennifer, Maurice (Cathy) and Carmelo (Paige) and great uncle of Sebastien. He will be missed by many family members and friends. Ed also had a second and close family of friends at the Chelrod Car Club in Chelsea Québec, where he spent most of his time. He was predeceased by his parents Edward A. Hood and Theresa Chapman and his brother-in-law and great friend Marcel Côté (Doreen). He also leaves behind Marcel’s son Daniel and his family.
A celebration of life will be held on a later date. Ed’s Family wishes to thank the exceptional staff at la Maison des Collines, for their compassionate and devoted care. A warm thank you to Martine Pigeon, Ron and Steve for always being there for Ed.
