Peacefully at the Colville Manor on Thursday, January 12, 2023, Edward Bruce MacDonald passed away with his loving son and daughter by his side. He was aged 72 years of Fortune, PEI.
He will be forever loved by his children Joey (Michelle) and Bobbi-Jo (Tim) and will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Hailey, Kylee, Ayden, Grace, Will, Sierra, and Taylor. He is survived by his dear siblings June Veld (Wally), Garnet (Marilyn), Owen (Debbie), Alice Acorn (Roger), Audrey MacDonald, Lela MacKay (Cecil), Garry (Bernadette), Beverley MacDonald (Gary) Nora McCormack (Stanley) and sister-in-law Helen MacDonald. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Lela MacDonald, sister Annie Livingstone (Archie), brothers Elwin, Gerald (Miriam), Earl, and brothers-in-law Ryk Veld and Lloyd MacDonald.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 6-9pm. A funeral service will take place at the Bay Fortune United Church on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 10:30am with interment will follow in the church cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Edward can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Bay Fortune Cemetery Fund.
