Unexpectedly at Sudbury Hospital, Health Sciences North on Saturday, July 1, 2023, Edna Ann “Ted” Austin of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of the Late Robert Austin (2004). Proud and loving mother of David Austin and his wife Marcey of Mitchell. Cherished grandmother of Quaid and Alaska. Dear sister of Sharon Deline of Woodstock. Predeceased by her mother Isabelle Almost nephew Kenneth Schlimme, brother-in-law Joe Deline and special friend George Maeckelbergh. Ted was a longtime member of the Tillsonburg Legion and was employed with CIBC in Tillsonburg and Langton for 34 years.
A memorial visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-521) on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. The Memorial Service for Ted will follow at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Poppy Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the Austin family.
