At age 72, after the recent traumatic loss of his son Bret, and then his mom, Phyllis, Randy’s declining health further deteriorated and he passed away on January 14, 2023.
Randy was born in Victoria, BC and after graduating from Oak Bay High, he had a 35-year career in Public Service. He retired to the Cowichan Valley from Sidney, BC, where his family was raised.
In retirement, he enjoyed being with his beloved grand-children, working on his project car and part-time work, particularly his last job driving for Budget Duncan.
Randy leaves behind a loving immediate family, a large extended family, long-time friends, including past and preset co-workers.
He will be so dearly missed.
