Sadly, Duane Cornelius of Detroit, Michigan and formerly of the Oneida of the Thames First Nation passed away on August 16th, 2023, in his 60th year.
Loving husband and best friend of Nancy Yepez-Cornelius and father of Raven Yepez-Cornelius, Krystyna Yepez and Christopher Yepez. Proud grandfather (Dodo) of River and Animkii.
Fondly remembered by his father Sherwin Cornelius and sisters Carolyn Tilson and Teresa Cornelius (Steve Bradchuck).
Predeceased by his mother Rose Mary Cornelius (nee Sickles) (2022).
Sadly missed by nieces, nephews Erika Blewett, Sean Cornelius, Jesse Cornelius, Kristy Tilson, Katelynn Cornelius, Nicholas Tilson, Skylar Tims, many aunties, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received by the family at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges, Ontario on Wednesday August 23, 2023, from 11 am until 1pm, where the funeral service will be held commencing at 1pm. Cremation to follow.
