Doug Hayes, age 76 passed away on Friday, March 10th, 2023. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Mildred “Millie” (Moffatt) Hayes and the late Howard Hayes. He was self employed as a tax specialist.
He is survived by his wife Barb (McDonald) Hayes, children, Amanda and Kent, a brother, Wayne and two grandchildren, Emma & Ryan.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 19th from 12:50 pm to 1: 50 pm followed by a service at 2 pm and a reception, all taking place in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay.
