Peacefully at L&A County General Hospital, with family by his side , on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Beloved Husband and best friend of Sherry (nee Grant) for 43 years. Devoted Dad of Dee-Anne (Chad Harrington), late Dustin (Jamie), and Grant. Cherished Papa of Ella, Quinn, Dade, Ryver, Gunner, and Klaira. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Phyllis. Dear Brother of Terry and Cheryl (late Dale) Desveaux. Brother-in-law of Brenda and Jim Clark, Gilbert and Kim Grant. Uncle of Katie, Jamie, Tyler, Cory, Scott, Laura, Ryan, and Tiffany. Remembered by Scot Sabramsky. He will also be in the thoughts of extended family, friends, and neighbours. At Doug’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation with private family burial at a later date.
