Obituary of Dorothy Margaret McLeod
The death of Dorothy Margaret McLeod (nee McLenaghan) occurred on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Shannex Cohen Hall. Born October 11, 1937, in Hartland, New Brunswick. Daughter of the late Eldon and Jane McLenaghan. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Roy McLeod.
Survived by her children Doug (Kim) McLeod, Heather (Steven) Leaman, Brenda (Kevin) McCann, Janet (Debra) McLeod. Grandchildren Matther Leaman, Jonathan Leaman, Zachary McCann, Jeffery McCann and Megan McLeod.
She enjoyed family gatherings at Bay du Vin, Monday night crib games, walks at Rockwood Park, watching countless sporting events and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Thank you to the staff of St. Joseph’s 8th floor and thank you to the staff of Cohen Hall.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 2 pm – 4 pm & 6 pm – 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 2 pm in Brenan’s chapel. Interment will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
