Dorothy Beddows, age 90, of Stratford passed away quietly in her sleep at Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Born in Woodstock Ontario, Dorothy was the daughter of the late David and Irene (Towers) Beddows. She taught English to high school students in Manitoba and British Columbia before retiring to Stratford. As well, Dorothy was active in animal rescue organizations throughout her life. She leaves her son Ken Nutt and his partner Mike Karn of Stratford. Dorothy will be remembered by her siblings David, Allan, Dennis, Ivan, Ed, Irene and their spouses and families. In keeping with her wishes the family will celebrate Dorothy’s life privately. Her son and his partner would like to thank the kind and caring doctors, nurses and staff at the Stratford General Hospital. As a remembrance to Dorothy donations can be made directly by credit card to Feline Friends or the Stratford General Hospital through the W. G.
