It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Doris Lirette (née LeBlanc), at the age of 92, on Wednesday
September 20, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC with her husband
and family by her side. Born in lrishtown, she was the daughter of the
late William Ernest and Vitaline (Vautour) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 64 years,
Désiré Lirette; three sisters: Rita Landry (late
Norman), Yvonne LeBlanc (late Alphonse), and Jeannise Richard (late
Gerard); two brothers: Henry LeBlanc (late Kathleen) and Gerald
LeBlanc (Nicole); as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law,
nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters: Viola Lirette (Henry);
and Florence Moulton (late Harold).
In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation. The
funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday September 27 at 10:30
am at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton
(506-858-1900). Interment will be at St. Lawrence O’Toole
cemetery in Irishtown. In memory of Doris, a contribution to the St.
Lawrence O’Toole Church would be appreciated.
