Peacefully, at the Pine Meadow Nursing Home in Northbrook on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Doris Aletha Asselstine (nee Williams) at age 84. Beloved wife of Ben Asselstine and dear mother of Jeff of Napanee, David (Robin) of Roblin and Robert (Cindy) of Foxboro. Grandmother to Joshua (Gillian), Taylor (Katherine), Dylan (Chelsea) and Wyatt (Chelsea). Great-grandmother of Mason and Hayley. Sister of Bill Williams (Elaine). Predeceased by her parents Robert and Aletha Williams. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Friday, July 7 from 9:30 a.m., followed by Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Newburgh Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
